Initial Contact

Before your first appointment is scheduled you will speak by telephone with a member of our professional team.  This is the first step in becoming familiar and comfortable with our services.  It is also an opportunity for you to decide if we are the best match for you and for us to match you to specific services and a member of our clinical staff.  We will talk about what is concerning you and how we may best serve.  For a rich conversation, allow enough time for us to begin to get to know each other.

 

Our Environment

When you first arrive at Legacy Family Center you may notice the comfortable atmosphere in our waiting area.  Appointments typically begin on time, so arriving a few minutes early will give you a chance to begin to transition from the challenges of the day.  Browse a magazine, enjoy the music, or just relax.

 

First Meeting

Please allow for a longer than usual meeting time at your first appointment.  We can discuss the amount of time needed when the appointment is set.  Together we will clarify your goals and determine a meeting schedule.
